What’s up!

We’re weeks away from 2025 and I’ve been thinking, as per usual. Thinking about how I want my 2025 to go, what new things I want to learn, books to read, skills and habits to perfect.

Which is all good, except for when you already know what you need to do. That nagging sense of purpose that makes you feel unfulfilled in your day-to-day.

Some might call it your calling. For the sake of keeping in line with the subject of this week’s newsletter, let’s call it your passion. Passion is what makes life exciting. Passion is what will get you out of bed in the morning and keep you on task and in your bag. Passion is basically what keeps you alive.

Like the saying goes, most people die on the inside at 25. Or however it goes. Lol. But you get the point.

After seeing so many people give up on their dreams to follow the status quo, I’m scared to follow the same path. If there’s something you feel called to do, just do it. Do it scared. Do it alone. Do it tired and make all the ugly faces like a 3rd grader makes when you tell them to do something they don’t like. The point is… just do it.

It might be hard, but the rewards are so worth it. It’s easy to sit there and do nothing, being caught up with the distractions of everyday, modern life. But, the pure satisfaction that comes with accomplishing something you set out to do is unmatched.

So, keep it real with yourself, dust those dreams off the shelf, and see how far you can go. Because… it’s always further than you think 😉
